There was no shortage of creativity and drive for the group known as Fifer's Follies. Led by Key West artist Christie Fifer, they undertook a huge project when they decided to create a parade entry that spanned nearly an entire block with three floats and over 120 people in costume. This year's Fantasy Fest parade theme was Cult Classics & Cartoon Chaos and so Alice's Excellent Adventure came to be. The group spent months bringing the vision to life, creating extravagant costumes and a caravan of large, colorful floats with everything you'd expect to jump off the movie screen and into the alt-reality of the first Key West Fantasy Fest since 2019. The group's work was rewarded by being named Best Overall and receiving the grand prize of $5000. Congratulations Fifer and team!
